Perfect Marinara Sauce

- 3 Tbs olive oil shopping list
- 6 thinly sliced garlic cloves shopping list
- pinch of red pepper shopping list
- 28 oz. can San Marzano plum tomatoes shopping list
- handful of torn basil shopping list
- 1 c water shopping list
How to make it
- Combine olive oil,garlic and red pepper in large skillet and cook over med-low heat until garlic is golden,about 6 mins.
- Crush tomatoes into skillet with your hands;rinse can with 1 c water;add to sauce
- Add a handful of torn basil leaves and season with salt. Increase heat to med . and simmer uncovered till thick,20 to 25 mins. Makes 4 cups of sauce.

I've never seen that brand of Tomatoes. Is it a regional specialty or have I just missed seeing them?
