How to make it

  • In med. dry skillet,roast garlic over med. heat,turning,until soft and blackened in spots, 10-15 mins.. Remove from heat . When cool enough to handle,peel and finely chop.
  • Halve avocados lengthwise and remove pit;scoop out flesh into large bowl. Add garlic,cilantro and lime juice;coarsely mash until well combined. Season with 1 tsp salt.
  • Transfer to serving bowl and press plastic wrap directly on surface of guacamole to cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    For some reason roasted garlic does wonders for me. Im not sure why. maybe because I have garlic in my blood stream. hmmm. lol ^5

    Going to give this a try soon! Do you roast your own garlic or buy the already roasted in a jar? I have never used the stuff in the jar - just wondered.
