Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Butter 3 (3/4 cup) custard cups or soufflĂ© dishes.
  • Double boiler is required. Melt the butter first. Add chocolate and stir with a wire whisk until chocolate is melted.
  • Stir in sugar and blend well. Whisk in eggs and egg yolks. Stir in flour.
  • Divide batter between prepared custard cups.
  • Bake for 13 to 14 minutes or until sides are firm but centres are soft. Let stand for 1 minute.
  • Carefully run a small knife around the cakes to loosen them. Invert cakes onto dessert dishes.
  • Top with 1 Tbsp whipped topping and serve immediately.
