Pasta With Bacon And Garlic

- 1/2 lb pasta shopping list
- 1/2 lb smokey bacon, cut into small pieces shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic (at least), sliced shopping list
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup of heavy cream shopping list
- a ton of parmegiano reggiano, grated shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Put on the pasta to cook.
- Place the bacon in a cold non-stick pan over medium heat. Leave until one side of the bacon browns. Turn and add the garlic. Reduce the heat to low and cook until the garlic is tender. Try not to let it brown. Add a little salt and a good sprinkling of pepper
- Pour in the cream and raise the heat to medium high. When it comes to the boil, let it reduce a little.
- Drain the pasta, add it to the pan and mix thoroughly. Then add some parmegiano reggiano and mix again.
- Plate and sprinkle with more cheese, maybe garnish with something green and enjoy!
