Tuna Pie With Biscuit Topping

- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 6 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 3 cups milk shopping list
- 2 cans (approx. 7 ounces each) tuna, drained and flaked shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine, optional shopping list
- fresh chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 container refrigerated biscuits shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, melt butter; add chopped pepper, onion, and celery and saute until tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add the drained tuna and salt and pepper to taste. Add wine, if desired, and parsley. Transfer mixture to a shallow 2-quart baking dish. Arrange refrigerated biscuits evenly over top and bake at 450° for 20 minutes, or until biscuits are browned.[
