Just been to the beach with family, and line caught some trevally and kawhai.. The kawhai is destined for the smoker, but the trevally is being oven baked in a lime zest/breadcrumb coating, and being served with sautee potatos. Read more This is a simple tartar sauce with a twise of wasabi to give it a kick along to accompany the fish! Just upscale the ingredients to make more. See less
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 tsp wasabi paste shopping list
- 6 capers shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- 1/4 lime shopping list
How to make it
- Crush capers with the back of a knife, chop them and add them to the mayo and wasabi. Squeee in the lime juice and a few twists on the pepper grinder, mix with a teaspoon and there you go.
- Add salt if you want, but there ought to be plenty in the fish/chips that you should be serving this with!
