Black Gold Burgers Recipe

	Helewes / All my dishes 2 years, 4 months ago This is a recipe from my youngest Sister Nan in South Carolina. She picked it up from a brochure last year at a local supermarket. I made these last night along with Pudgy's Rueben Burgers. Everyone loved them. Prep:20m Cook:45m Servings:6	Helewes

Ingredients

3/4 cup finely chopped onion

6 large cloves garlic, minced (about 3 Tbsp.)

2 Tbsp. margarine or butter

1 Tbsp. sugar

3/4 cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce

1-1/2 lb. ground beef

6 garlic rolls, split ( or your favorite roll )

Directions

Cook and stir onion and garlic in margarine in medium skillet on medium heat until tender but not brown; stir in sugar.

Reduce heat to low; cook 10 minutes.

Stir in steak sauce; keep warm.

Shape meat into 6 patties.

Place on grill over medium heat.

Grill 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Place burgers on roll bottoms; top each with 3 Tbsp. sauce and roll top.

Serve immediately.

Hey there lady how ya doing? I haven't had time to try it exactly the way you have posted here yet but I have made burgers with A1 Sauce in them and they are good. Sometimes I will just make burger patties and veggies and put out the A1 bottle and we use it like when we have steaks, in fact I call this lazy steaks. Maybe I will have to post that. hahahaha
