How to make it

  • First add oil to a large pan over medium flame.
  • Saute onion, celery, carrots, potatoes, and the garlic cooking approx. 5-10 min.
  • Next add in the parsley, cilantro, tomatoes, tomatoes juice, clam juice, white wine, basil, oregano, thyme, chili powder, hot pepper, and salt and pepper.
  • Now you want to lower the flame and cook around 2 hrs.
  • Just before you serve this stew, add in the fish.
  • Let it cook about 5 more minutes, letting all the fish get heated through.
  • Search for unopened mussels and remove them before serving.

    How much does this serve? can it be cut in half? That is 7 pounds of seafood.. It's only my husband and I. Maybe quarter it? It looks so good.
