How to make it

  • Cook peas and carrots according to package directions. (Boil salted water in sauce pan and add veggies.Reduce heat to med-low. cover for 8 min.,Drain)
  • While the peas and carrots are cooking, slice up the bacon into small pieces. Heat skillet on med. and add bacon pieces. As bacon starts to brown add in the 1 T of butter and shallots.
  • Drain peas and carrots and add to skillet. Add honey and additional Tablespoon of butter. Toss to coat and serve.
