Ingredients

How to make it

  • Bring the 3 cups to a boil
  • Add the cup of rice
  • Let the rice and water rest for at least 3 hours, you can leave it overnight add the branch of cinnamon at this point
  • Put the rice and water in the blender all together with the cinnamon
  • add 1 Tbsp of vanilla
  • and then 5 Tbsp of sugar
  • add the evaporated milk
  • Blend all this perfectly
  • Strain 2 times and pour it in a big beautiful pitcher with ice and sprinkle some more powder cinnamon if you like
  • enjoy!

    Thank you for the post, I first tried this when I went to TJ and I have been hooked ever since! I have never found a recipe that I liked and tasted true to what I had had in Mexico, but now the search is over!
