Ingredients

How to make it

  • Throw all ingredients, except wine, seasonings and sugar into a food processor.
  • Pulse until all ingredients are minced or smaller.
  • Pore into a sauce pan.
  • Turn heat on medium, and slowly bring to boil.
  • Add wine, seasonings and sugar.
  • Simmer until ready to use.

    Wow! 2 Tbs. pepper and 3 Tbs. oregano? Did you mean teaspoons?

    This sounds good. I also like to sometimes roast fresh tomatos in wine first, before processing them.
