Ingredients
  • 1 c. of chopped pecans
  • 1 c. of milk
  • 1/2 c. of breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. of flour
  • 2 Tbsp. of butter
  • 3 c. of vegetable stock, ideally home-made
  • 1/4 tsp. of mace
  • 1/3 c. of light cream
  • 1/4 c. of finely chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. First you want to add the pecans, milk, breadcrumbs and flour in a saucepan.
  2. Now let this come to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Then you wan to remove immediately from the flame.
  4. Take a pan and melt the butter and stir in the milk mixture.
  5. Then you can blend in the stock and mace.
  6. Let this come to a boil and immediately lower the flame and simmer gently fapprox. for 5 min..
  7. Next you will add in the cream, salt and pepper, pour into individual serving bowls and garnish each with parsley.
  8. This is best served hot!.
