Bacon Border Quiche

- butter shopping list
- 6 large eggs shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- Several drops of hot pepper sauce, or to taste, I use Frank's red hot sauce shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste (I leave out the salt) shopping list
- 3 oz. can of diced green chillies, I used 4 oz. can shopping list
- 1/4 pound chorizo, crumbled, fried and drained, I used 8 slices of Hearty Thick Cut bacon instead. shopping list
- 1 cup diced muenster cheese shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro (I skipped) shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped scallions (I used a bit of regular onion) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Have ready a buttered 8-inch quiche pan.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl with the cream, hot pepper sauce, and salt and pepper.
- Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, and pour into the quiche pan.
- Bake 40 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
