Ingredients

How to make it

  • heat the oil in a large pan
  • add the ginger, garlic, onion, fresh herbs and curry powder
  • stir well
  • add the chicken, potato, tomato paste and stock
  • simmer for 25 minutes on medium heat
  • uncover the pot, add the yoghurt and simmer for 15 more minutes on low heat
  • once the sauce had thickened and the meat tender
  • remove from heat
  • add salt and pepper according to taste
  • squeeze in the lemon
  • Now to make the Bunny chow...
  • cut the loaf in three pieces sideways
  • use the tow last pieces
  • remove the soft bread in the middle to form a hollow bread case
  • scooped in some curry in each of these "bread case"
  • take some of the soft bread, break into small pieces and sprinkle on each bunny chow
  • Eat with your hand and remember its a messy affair!!!! enjoy

    That is one of the best chicken stew recipes I have ever seen. Bookmarked! I'll be trying this out soon. I'll let you know how it turns out. Must confess I'll be treating the bread bowl as optional.
