How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
  • In a mixer bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and 1 cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla
  • Add the finely chopped Butterfinger candy bars
  • Gradually beat in the dry ingredients just until combined
  • Shape tablespoonfuls of the dough into 1 inch balls.
  • Roll in the 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • Place 3 inches apart on 2 ungreased cookie sheets
  • With sugar coated tines of a fork, press and flatten each ball
  • Make a criss-cross pattern
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden
  • Cool on cookie sheets for about 3 minutes
  • Transfer to wire racks to cool completely
