How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 180'c/160'c fan/Gas 4.
  • Line the base of a 9in/27cm round cake tin with greaseproof paper.
  • place the butter, sugar,eggs, flour, baking powder, orange rind and creme fraiche into a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
  • Spread the mixture in the cake tin. Remove the stone from the peach and cut into chunks, then scatter on top of the cake with the raspberries.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden and firm to the touch. Turn out when cool
  • ENJOY! :).

    This does sound lovely, indeed. The fruit must impart a very pretty color to this dessert, too.
