How to make it

  • PREPARATION:
  • Lightly grease microwavable glass bowl with butter, metal baking sheet and utensil used for stirring.
  • Mix nuts, sugar, syrup and salt in glass bowl. Cook for 4 minutes in microwave on high. Stir. Cook for 3-1/2 more minutes.It will be hot and bubbly, lite gold..
  • Stir in butter and vanilla. Cook for 3 more minutes. Golden color, Add baking soda. (It will foam.) Pour onto cookie sheet. Slightly shake sheet so that it’ll spread out a little.
  • Once cool, break into small pieces. Keep in an airtight container.

    Way to many peanuts. 1/4 to 1/2 cups is enough. I would say 1/4. Other than that, good recipe. The brittle comes out fine.

    i love this kind, it was great, but i tried it and the bowl i used MELTED in the microwave... haha i wasn't even in trouble, the part of it that wasn't covered in plastic was good and my parents probably didn't ground me just b/c it tasted so good!
