Peach Butter Recipe

Ingredients

3-1/2 pounds peaches

1-3/4 cup granulated white sugar

1 tablespoons lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring

Directions

Place peaches in boiling water two at a time for one minute.

Remove from water and peel then remove pits.

Grind or mash peaches then combine with remaining ingredients in a large saucepan.

Bring to a boil on medium heat stirring often.

Boil again stirring often for one hour and fifteen minutes until thickened.

Fill hot sterilized jars to within 1/4" from the top and seal.
