How to make it

  • Place peaches in boiling water two at a time for one minute.
  • Remove from water and peel then remove pits.
  • Grind or mash peaches then combine with remaining ingredients in a large saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil on medium heat stirring often.
  • Boil again stirring often for one hour and fifteen minutes until thickened.
  • Fill hot sterilized jars to within 1/4" from the top and seal.
