My son was going through some of his old school memorabilia and found an apple cook book that his teacher had made with a recipe from each child's mother or grandmother. The school is Jasper Elementary School for the school year 1999-2000. Read more This one was from Emily Conaway. Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter shopping list
- 1 box yellow cake mix shopping list
- 2 cans apple pie filling shopping list
- 1 1/2 C. chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Melt butter in a 13" x 9" baking pan.
- Pour butter in a medium size bowl.
- Pour pie filling into 9" x 13" pan.
- Sprinkle cake mix over pie filling.
- Then sprinkle pecans over the cake mix.
- Drizzle butter over all.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
