  • Cream butter and sugar together
  • add eggs and beat in
  • add vanilla, vinegar, flour and cornmeal; mix well
  • Pour into unbaked pie shell
  • Bake 45 min-1 hour @ 350 degrees

    I tried baking this pie. It lists milk in the ingredients but not in the directions so I left it out. Pie is very dry is it because I left out the milk or because no butter was used, creamed sugar with tiny bit of solid Crisco. Please advise so I can make corrections.
