Cocoa Chili

This is my favorite chili. The cocoa makes it really rich!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1 Tbs chili powder shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp salt shopping list
- 1 Tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1Tsp oregano shopping list
- 1 Tsp cocoa shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp hot sauce shopping list
- 1 16oz can tomatoes, undrained shopping list
- 1 16oz can red kidney beans shopping list
How to make it
- cook beef, onion and garlic in large sauce pan; drain
- stir in remaining ingredients, except beans
- heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- stir in beans and reheat to boiling; reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes
