This is one of my favorite dips. It is zesty, creamy, spicy, nutty and always one of the first things to go off my buffet. Warning. It is addicting.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 shallot finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients except nuts in a food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Stir in nuts and serve with raw vegetables or crackers for dipping.
