- 4 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 4 Tbsp flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 tea salt shopping list
- 1/4 tea black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 lb hamburger shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 2 large pieces Texas toast, or large slices of any bread shopping list
- 1/4 pound deli sliced roast beef shopping list
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- In large skillet, brown hamburger.
- Add onions and cook until tender
- Drain and cool on plate with paper towel.
- Wipe out skillet for future use.
- In medium pan, melt butter.
- Stir in flour until mixed.
- Add milk, salt and pepper.
- Stirring constantly, simmer until sauce thickens.
- Fold in hamburg and onions, and keep warm.
- Spread butter on each side of bread and toast in skillet.
- Place on plate.
- Warm roast beef in skillet, then stack on toast
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter in skillet.
- Add cabbage, heat and stir until tender.
- Stack on roast beef, then pour hamburger sauce on top.
- Enjoy!!
