Potato Pizza

I never had potato pizza before until I went to a friend’s cottage and she made us try it!! Well I fell in love with the lightness of this pizza and the taste was awesome, so I had to try to make it I did not get the recipe from this friend but by trial and error I finally did it and it's a hit with my family. Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough (you can buy it at any supermarket even Wal-Mart food stores carry it) shopping list
- 1 white/yellow onion cut in half and sliced thinly shopping list
- 3 potatoes cut into thin slices (not too thin about ½ cm thick) shopping list
- basil shopping list
- salt shopping list
- oregano shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- 3 tbsp. oil shopping list
- Mozzallera cheese (grated) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- Add onions and cook until almost see through
- Add potatoes and coat well with onions
- Add all the spices to taste and coat well the potatoes and onions
- Cook for 5 minutes
- Set aside
- Roll dough out to fit round baking sheet
- Spread potatoes to cover the dough (grab single potato slices and arrange by hand to make sure you cover the dough try not to overlap too much cause the potatoes may not cook)
- Pour any onions left on the pan over the potatoes and spread well
- Add mozzarella over it and bake until it is golden brown
