How to make it

  • In a shallow medium bowl, beat egg and buttermilk lightly.
  • Place bread crumbs garlic, parmesean and flower in a plastic baggie.
  • Dip cauliflower into egg to coat.
  • Place florets in dry mixture.
  • Seal or close bag and shake well.
  • In 10 inch Dutch oven, heat oil to 350 Deg or until oil starts to roll on top.
  • Add coated cauliflower and saute until browned on all sides.
  • Remove from oil and place on wire cooling rack or paper towel
  • Season while hot with salt and pepper if desired.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, veggie or otherwise.
  • Enjoy!
