How to make it

  • Drain beets, reserving liquid.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, melt marmalade with lemon juice, butter, and beet liquid.
  • Blend in seasonings then add beets. Simmer uncovered for at least 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to glaze all beets. Add a cornstarch slurry for a thicker glaze.

    I haven't cooked with beets a lot but did a bit over the summer and I love them. This recipe is very cool. Neat flavours. Thanks. Great pic and I also love your Avatar today! Neat sky.
