Jaimes Red Meat Sauce Recipe

Jaimes Red Meat Sauce Recipe
This is my favorite meat sauce. Most of the time I don't even measure and it always comes out wonderful. I use it in lasagna, spaghetti, etc...

This sounds great. I make something like this but leave out the water or add wine sometimes. I add tons of basil during cooking. Basil flavor will cook out during the cooking process so before serving I add more (fresh or dried). I love a thick sauce. Sauce is always best the next day.

Good recipe! They also cook their wonderfully rich "ragù" for about 3 hours here in Italy... the longer it cooks, the better it gets, but it must have the tomato puree/paste not just the tomato pulp.

Adding a cup of red wine to the meat like Recipe Diva suggested and letting it cook few min more before adding the other ingredients will make it that much yummier ;)
