How to make it

  • Peel potatoes and chop into small chunks;
  • Place potatoes in microwave safe bowl, cover with water, and cook for approximately ten minutes;
  • Once cooked, drain potatoes;
  • Warm milk in microwave for 30-45 seconds;
  • Add potatoes to bowl with warmed milk, garlic and chives. Mash;
  • Add a generous sprinkle of pepper and chicken salt, add cheese. Stir through;
  • Serve immediately as mashed potatoes tend to cool quite quickly.
  • RECIPE IS FOR 2 X PEOPLE. FOR ADDITIONAL PEOPLE, USE APPROXIMATELY 1.5 POTATOES PER PERSON AS A GUIDE.
