Cheesy Mashed Potato With Chives

- 3 (medium sized) potatoes shopping list
- 1 x cup of milk (full cream OR lite) shopping list
- 2 x teaspoons of chives (tube of chives available in fruit-and-veg section of any supermarket) shopping list
- 1 x cup of shredded tasty cheese shopping list
- 1 x teaspoon of minced garlic shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- chicken salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Peel potatoes and chop into small chunks;
- Place potatoes in microwave safe bowl, cover with water, and cook for approximately ten minutes;
- Once cooked, drain potatoes;
- Warm milk in microwave for 30-45 seconds;
- Add potatoes to bowl with warmed milk, garlic and chives. Mash;
- Add a generous sprinkle of pepper and chicken salt, add cheese. Stir through;
- Serve immediately as mashed potatoes tend to cool quite quickly.
- RECIPE IS FOR 2 X PEOPLE. FOR ADDITIONAL PEOPLE, USE APPROXIMATELY 1.5 POTATOES PER PERSON AS A GUIDE.
