How to make it

  • 1. Grease a 12 by 15 inch pan
  • 2. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, whipping cream and butter and stir and monitor the heat of the mixture with a candy thermometer while stirring.
  • 3. When the theremometer reaches 250 degrees F remove the pot from the heat and then stir in the vanilla.
  • 4. Transfer the mixture in to the prepared pan and let the mixture cool completely. I would place in the fridge and then when cooled cut into pieces and wrap in wax paper for storage.
