- 2 cups white sugar shopping list
- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 1 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Grease a 12 by 15 inch pan
- 2. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, whipping cream and butter and stir and monitor the heat of the mixture with a candy thermometer while stirring.
- 3. When the theremometer reaches 250 degrees F remove the pot from the heat and then stir in the vanilla.
- 4. Transfer the mixture in to the prepared pan and let the mixture cool completely. I would place in the fridge and then when cooled cut into pieces and wrap in wax paper for storage.
