Lasagna

- 2 lbs ground chuck shopping list
- 1 medium onion (chopped) shopping list
- 1 large jar Ragu Thick and chunky spegetti sauce shopping list
- 1 clove garlic chopped fine shopping list
- 1-2 rounded teaspoons chilli powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 pack or so lasagna noodles uncooked shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 (2 cup) pk mozerella shopping list
- 1 container ricotta cheese shopping list
- Parmesan cheese shopping list
- Optional ingredients: shopping list
- sliced mushrooms, I shopping list
- talian sausages cooked and sliced thin.making the meats half and half. shopping list
How to make it
- Brown hamburger with onion and garlic.
- Add the spegetti sauce, water, chilli powder and Italian seasonings
- Add any of the optional ingredients at this time.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Put a thin layer of sauce in a 9x12 pan.
- Put a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.(3-4 noodles)
- Put a layer of 1/3 of sauce over the noodles
- Put half of the ricotta over the sauce
- put 1/3 the mozzerella over the ricotta and sprinkle some parmeasan over that.
- Repeat another layer starting with the noodles.
- Top with the last of the sauce and mozzerela and parmeasn cheese.
- Cover with a sheet of alumiun foil that you buttered lightly on the inside next to the lasagna. (this prevents the cheese from sticking..
- At this point you can freeze it or store it in the fridge for use later that day or bake it at 350 for 45-50 minutes. until it is bubbly.

- Notes:
- No need to cook the noodles ahead that is what the extra water is for in the sauce.
- Remember the noodles expand so you don't have to crowd the noodles in, 3-4 is enough on a layer. (I use 3 1/2 - 3 long and the 1/2 noodle down the side. and alternate the side in the next layer)
