How to make it

  • Grease bottom only of a 10x14 inch pan.
  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix the pecans and coconut...spread in bottom of pan.
  • Prepare the cake mix as noted,and pour over coconut and pecans.
  • Mix the remaining ingredients and spoon over cake batter.
  • Bake anywhere from 45 to 50 minutes.
  • Note: Because this cake is so sweet and rich,serving it with ice cream or whipped cream would just put you in sugar shock...Serving just as it is,is best.
