Ingredients
- For Crust: shopping list
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers about 12 squares shopping list
- 1 cup crushed oreos, about 10 cookies shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, melted shopping list
- For filling and garnish: shopping list
- 1 quart butter pecan ice cream, softened shopping list
- 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate, melted shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- butterscotch topping shopping list
- about 1 cup sweetened whipped cream (or Cool Whip) shopping list
- 8 maraschino cheeries shopping list
How to make it
- Stir crushed graham crackers and oreos together
- Mix with melted butter
- Pat mixture evenly onto the sides and bottom of a 10 inch pie plate
- For a crisper crust bake in a 350 degree oven for 8 minutes
- Let crust cool completely before filling
- Fill cooled crust with softened ice cream
- Quickly spread melted chocolate over ice cream
- Immediately sprinkle with pecans
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about 1 hour
- To serve, drizzle butterscotch topping over each slice of pie and serve with whipped cream and a cherry on top
