Toffee Chunk Skookie

I use my cast iron skillet -- and then when it comes out of the oven -- I'm happy!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup toffee bits shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven 350. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter and sugars with vanilla in a separate large bowl. Combine eggs with butter mixture; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in toffee bits.
- Spray non-stick spray in the skillet. Measure out 1/2 cup of mixture and place in the middle of the skillet spreading evenly until the mix nearly touches the edge. Place skillet in oven and bake 10-12 minutes. Remove skillet from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve with ice cream and your favorite toppings.
