How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Place carrots and garlic in a 9" x 13" baking dish.
  • Whisk together lemon juice, oil, garam masala, white pepper, salt, honey and stock/water. Pour over carrots and toss to coat.
  • Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until carrots are tender.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve.
  • Note: I like to use white pepper because it has a little more "heat" than black - you can sub black or even add some crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne if you like it spicy!
