Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat sesame oil in saucepan over medium heat
  • Add ginger and garlic
  • Cook 1/2 minute or so.
  • Add chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, pepper, and lemon juice
  • Stir to combine
  • Bring just to boil, stirring constantly
  • Dissolve cornstarch in sherry
  • Whisk into sauce
  • Cook until sauce thickens and reaches a full boil
  • Reduce to simmer and cook for another minute or so

    Wow! This has been a popular post hasn't it! Good job Corinne! I love it! Totally bookmarked this. I've never put chicken broth in my sauce, nor red pepper flakes, nor brown sugar, nor lemon juice...this shall be a great thing to try! Thanks!
