How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Open the tops of the bell peppers, and clean out the insides
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the peppers, and turn them occasionally over ten minutes or so
  • Remove from heat, and rinse with cold water to stop them from cooking
  • In a large bowl, combine all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly
  • Generously stuff the peppers and place in a shallow baking pan with about 1/4 inch of water in it
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
  • In a sauce pan, heat cranberry sauce on medium low, and bring to a slow boil.
  • Serve Peppers with hot cranberry sauce on top
  • A nice turkey gravy adds depth to the flavor as well
