Russian Salad Aka Olivier Salad

- boiled potatoes (peeled, cubed and boiled) shopping list
- boiled eggs (sliced) shopping list
- boiled mixed vegetables, carrots, green peas shopping list
- onion, green peppers, tomatoes (chopped) shopping list
- 4 oz. can of black jalapeño olives (sliced) drained shopping list
- capers shopping list
- black pepper to taste shopping list
- NOTE: The amounts of vegetables can go according to your likes. shopping list
- For the Dressing: shopping list
- mayonnaise shopping list
- sour cream shopping list
- lemon juice shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- white or red vinegar shopping list
- garlic (mashed or paste) shopping list
- Whisk together all the dressing ingredients and refrigerate while preparing the salad. shopping list
How to make it
- Boil the potatoes separate from the eggs.
- Blanch together the carrots, green peas and mixed vegetables.
- In a large mixing bowl bring in the potatoes, the sliced eggs,
- the blanched vegetables along with the black olives, capers and the chopped onion, peppers and tomatoes.
- Sprinkle with black pepper and toss everything well.
- Mix well the prepared dressing with the potato mixture.
- Chill before serving or serve at room temperature.
