This is a different way of making hot dog sandwiches more interesting. I put 3 servings, that is if each person ate 2. It could be for 6 servings if you add some other foods with it like a salad and dessert. I don't add salt.

Ingredients
  • 6 hot dogs finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped sweet pickles
  • Combine and add.
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix ingredients well.
  2. Fill hot dog buns with mixture.
  3. Wrap each bun in foil.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

This will have to be on my next "gourmet" meal menu. Which is usually Mac & Cheese and of course hot dogs.
