How to make it

  • Set up dredging station with 3 bowls, one with eggs beaten, another with panko bread crumbs and the last one with flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil on fry pan to med-high
  • Dredge chicken in flour, then egg and lastly, panko
  • In batches, cook until golden brown on both sides
  • Sauce
  • Add all ingredients to small pan.
  • Heat on medium until sugar has dissolved and starts to thicken.
  • Can drench tenders in sauce or dunk if you prefer.

    Frank's hot sauce is a favorite here. I like the idea of adding the brown sugar sweetness to maybe cut the heat a bit. That and the Panko bread crumbs that you turned me onto way back when make this a definite one to try soon. :)
