One Pan Sage And Onion Chicken And Sausage

- 1 large onion or 2 small shopping list
- 1/2 c olive oil(not extra virgin) shopping list
- 2 tsp English mustard shopping list
- 1 TB dreied sage shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 TB worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 lemon shopping list
- 1 (4lb0 chicken ,cut in pieces shopping list
- 12 sausages(hot,sweet or whatever you like) shopping list
- 2 Tb fresh sage leaves,chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Peel and cut onions into eights,put into freezer bag with oil,mustard,dried sage,a good grinding of peper and Worcestershire sauce. Cut lemon in half and squeeeze juice into bagand cut halves into eights and add them. Squish everything around to mix(the mustard needs help to combine) and add chicken pieces. Leave to marinate in frig. overnight or up to 2 days.
- Preheat oven to 425' Allow chicken to come to room temp. in marinade.
- Arrange chicken piecesand onions in roasting pan skin side up with marinade,including all bits and pieces,tuck sausage in around them. Sprinke the fresh sage leaves over chicken and sausage and place in oven.
- Cook for 1 hour and 15 mins. Turn sasage over half-way thru to color evenly. Arrange on platter and serve....
