How to make it

  • Brush each side of steak with dressing and season liberally with salt and pepper, pressing it into the steak lightly before turning over. Cover and let stand 30 mins room temperature or return to fridge until ready to cook.
  • Heat grill and cook steak to desired doneness.
  • Cut lettuce in half. Brush all sides of each half generously with dressing.
  • Return grill to high heat and grill both sides of lettuce, about 2-4 minutes per side, until lightly charred and beginning to wilt.
  • Sprinkle lettuce with salt, pepper and parmesan cheese to taste.
