How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients except peas, rolls/bread/rice and cheese in slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for about 4-5 hours until chicken is tender and shredable.
  • Shred chicken well and mix together with the sauce.
  • Let cook another couple of hours, removing the lid in the last hour or so, if needed, to thicken.
  • Add peas just before serving, stirring well to combine.
  • Serve over rolls, bread or rice, and top with goats cheese
