Plum Ginger Ale

- 8 ripe plums shopping list
- 4 cups water shopping list
- 1-4T honey(If needed to add sweetness if plums are a lil too tart, use as desired, I didn't use any :) shopping list
- 2 1 inch pieces candied ginger shopping list
- 2 liters all natural ginger ale shopping list
- ice shopping list
How to make it
- Slice plums in half and remove pit(leaving the pit will make it a lil more "bitter")
- Place in a medium saucepan with the water, ginger, and honey, if using)
- Heat to a simmer and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, mashing with a potato masher or large fork, etc, as they soften.
- Once plums have all cooked down and juice is a deep, solid red, remove from heat and strain liquid.
- Let cool in fridge at least 30-45 minutes.
- To serve, fill serving glass about 1/2 full of the juice, add ice and fill with ginger ale.
