Whiskey Butter

- Serves ~1 1/2cups
A couple tablespoons of this on a rare or medium rare ribeye will make your guests think they're eating in a high dollar steak joint. Keep your steaks simple, though, and let these flavors shine.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened shopping list
- 1T fresh chopped chives shopping list
- 2T sour cream shopping list
- 1T Dijon shopping list
- 1t worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1-2T Jack Daniels Whiskey shopping list
- a dash of truffle oil or salt(can just use a bit of kosher or sea salt, if necessary) shopping list
- fresh ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Press mixture into small glass bowl, making sure to pack it down well.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- To serve, scoop a couple T of the cold Whiskey Butter onto each grilled steak, just before serving. (I used my lil cookie scoop:)
