Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Puree beans in food processor or blender with maple syrup and maple extract until smooth.
  • Add egg replacers, sugar and margarine and mix until well blended.
  • Sprinkle raisins in bottom of pie crust. Pour filling on top and smooth.
  • Bake pie for 35 to 40 minutes

    I've had pinto bean pie before & even tho it sounds gross,it tastes REALLY good !! We have an aunt who loves pintos and we made her pinto bean crepes with a strawberry in each end for camoflauge(sp?)as a joke once.She didn't notice until a lone pinto rolled out halfway thru her crepe! I didn't taste any but they didn't taste as good as the pie, I am sure ! LOL!!
