Vegan Gluten-Free Pie Dough

- 1 1/2 c. buckwheat flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 c. all-vegetable shortening shopping list
- 3 tbsp. water shopping list
How to make it
- Stir flour and salt together.
- Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse mealy crumbs.
- Add water and gently combine to form a dough. Add more water by tablespoons if necessary.
- Do not overwork!
- Roll out and press into pie tin.
- If prebaking:
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Prick bottom and sides of dough.
- Bake 10-15 minutes.
