Simple Porterhouse Steaks

- 2 porterhouse steaks, 3/4 to 1 inch thick shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 tbls. butter, unsalted shopping list
- oil for grill shopping list
How to make it
- Heat grill to medium high (I used an indoor grill pan)
- Oil grill pan
- Liberally salt and pepper one side of steaks
- When grill is hot enough, put steaks in seasoned side down and season top side
- Cook 3-5 minutes each side, depending on thickness of steak See Photo
- Internal temp. should be 125 for a perfectly med rare steak
- Melt 1/2 tbls. butter over each steak
- Tent with foil and let rest 5 minutes
