Peanut Butter Jumbo Cookies

I got this recipe from "1001 cookie recipes" book. I have always made them and my kids love them. You know me though I always like to add new things to the recipe to make it my own and in this case I added white chocolate chips! Read more !! Yum ......I hope you like them!! See less
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups pf all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp of baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp of baking soda shopping list
- 2 cups packed of light brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup of vegetable shortening shopping list
- 1 cup of peanut butter shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350*
- combine flour, baking powder and baking soda set aside
- in a large bowl mix sugar shortening eggs and peanut butter
- gradually blend in the dry ingredients, the dough will be soft.
- ** at this point is when you add what ever you like, for example I added white chocolate chips, you can add chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, walnuts, anything you like, be creative!!**
- form into balls and bake for 12 min.
- ** if you like a crunchier texture use crunchy peanut butter instead of smooth peanut butter***
