How to make it

  • Wash and soak the rice for 1 hour, drain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan cooker, add pulao ingredients and fry for a minute.
  • Add chopped onion and fry till golden.
  • Add chicken and heat for 5 minutes, add mint leaves, slit chilles, 1/2 tsp salt and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add the masala and fry for about 10 minutes,(till masala completely cooks).
  • Now add water and salt and heat till water boils.
  • Add rice and stir.
  • Add lemon juice, mix well and close the lid.
  • pressure cook for 1 whistle, simmer for 5 minutes and turn off the stove.
  • Allow to cool, mix the rice well and serve.
