Sausage ( Primanti Style) Sandwich

- 6 Polish or similar smoked sauages shopping list
- 2 bottles favorite beer(come on, make it Iron City if you can ;) shopping list
- 2 cups prepared cole slaw(I used broccoli slaw and made a slightly spicy, tart and creamy dressing for it, but you can do whatever is your favorite) shopping list
- french fries shopping list
- BBQ sauce, slightly warmed(I used the KC style from here How Do I Make B B Q Sauce) shopping list
- 6 hearty sausage rolls(lil supermarket hot dog buns prolly aren't gonna cut it) shopping list
How to make it
- Pour beer over sausages in a large zipper bag, seal and let rest at least half an hour, but up to over night.
- Cook fries per package directions, or, as desired if making from fresh potatoes.
- Steam buns in microwave by covering them with damp paper towels and putting them in the microwave on a constant, VERY low setting. Use your "warming" setting, if you have one. OR, cover with the damp paper towels and put them in a gas oven, but not on, or on about 100 degrees until soft and warm.
- Grill sausages over high heat until heated through and nice and charcoaly! ;-) (you could also broil these, of course)
- Prepare sammiches by placing the sausage in the roll and top it with a spoonful of cole slaw, a few fries, and the BBQ sauce. Serve with more of each on the side, too!
- oh and...drink the beer, if you want, but I don't recommend it. ;-)

mmmmmmmm.... wish my tummy was a weee bit bigger so i coulda had another. This was an awesome sammich, and easy to make. thaaaaaaank you Keni!
